Rumble Fish Fan-Fiction Piece

I haven't been posting much on this blog lately. So I decided to show you a story I wrote for school. It's based off the book "Rumble Fish" by S. E. Hinton (who also wrote my favorite book/movie "The Outsiders").
We had to do  6 book reports on one book  and a huge writing portfolio in my L. A. class last year. We were able to put one of the 6 book reports in our portfolio since they were both due around the same time. I did "Rumble Fish" for my reports and one of the choices was to make a spin-off. If you ever read any of Hinton's books (minus "Taming the Star Runner") you know that she uses 1st person point of view in her writing. So I thought it would be fun to do a scene in a different character's P. O. V. I used Rusty-James' best friend Steve during this scene. The part is about them going downtown and things. I got 100% on this and I'm pretty proud of this piece. So here we go:
Lately a lot of things are happening to me and Rusty-James. My mom is in the hospital and my father is running up my butt. Rusty-James recently got expelled from school for arriving during the afternoon and his girlfriend, Patty broke up with him. He invited me to go downtown across the bridge with him and his older-brother-whose-real- name-nobody-can-remember but we call him “The Motorcycle Boy”. I’m planning to go and we’re going to forget our worries for a night and have fun!
I met Rusty- James and the Motorcycle Boy at their house. My parents don’t even know them and they’ve never been over to my house. I know that my parents would lose it if they found out I’m friends with a hood.
As we went across the bridge, Rusty-James offered me a drink. I was always at him for stealing his dad’s liquor and for drinking at a young age. He’s also been at me for years to get me to drink and I thought, tonight, I’m gonna take a sip of liquor and enjoy myself. I took my first sip, I started to gag, but I did swallow it.  It tasted AWFUL. Rusty-James told me that I shouldn’t worry about the taste and it’ll get me there. I definitely knew I needed to chew mint gum before I go home so my father wouldn’t find out that I was drinking alcohol.
The city was bright with flashy lights, signs and people. Rusty-James was enjoying it. It was nice to see him happy for a change. I decided to take another sip from his bottle and for the first time in forever, I talked to the Motorcycle Boy. I must’ve been starting to get drunk or the alcohol was making me talkative.
Then we went to go see a movie. It appeared that the movie we wanted to see was rated R but it looked really interesting from just looking at the advertisements.  At the moment I thought we couldn’t go watch it, the Motorcycle Boy comes to us with the tickets. He actually bought them for us. The ticket seller must’ve been crazy to sell them to him but still, everybody knows the Motorcycle Boy in this city for stealing motorcycles, getting into fights and being a hard-core pool player. You would not want to mess with him.
We went into the theatre and found seats to watch the movie. I didn’t realize until Rust-James told me that the movie was a “skin flick”. I’d never seen one until that moment. It was the most shocking thing I ever saw. I tried looking at the audience like what the Motorcycle Boy was doing but Rusty-James was constantly poking me and telling me to watch the movie. I then decided to excuse myself to use the john. I ran out of the theatre and some guy asked me if I liked the movie. I can’t remember my response was but I probably lost it because the next thing I knew, I was outside the theatre sitting against a wall and I was a little drunk or that’s what I thought I was for my actions and that I was also talking to myself. After a while, Rusty-James and the Motorcycle Boy found me, and then gave me the bottle of liquor, and we went off to do more things downtown.
I can’t quite remember what we did for a quarter of the night because I was drunk from drinking out of that bottle and other liquors. But I know that there were fights, picking up women, annoying people, throwing up from drinking, emotional outbursts and partying. I also made out with this thirteen year old chick. I was really thinking that I was dreaming this because she was so beautiful and was a really good kisser. I could hear Rusty-James saying “Way to go, man,” in the background. Boy did I felt proud of myself and a little terrified from doing that.
Boy were we having one heck of a night downtown. It was probably the most fun I had in years. I can admit I could be a little cautious and a complete smarty pants sometimes, but that night I let that go and that might have been the alcohol doing it. This would be a night we would always remember for the rest of our lives. We later found ourselves at Benny’s watching the Motorcycle Boy play pool with a bunch of guys. We sat at this worn out booth just watching. Well, I couldn’t say I was completely watching, I was also carving a word on the table and wanting more wine. Later, the Motorcycle Boy left and we didn’t notice. So we left Benny’s to go find him. He always left without telling us and we’ve been trying to follow him all night.
We walked down the street and looked around. Then we went through an alley and two characters came out from the dark. One of them had a tool that you would use to take off a tire. I knew that we were screwed. I started to panic inside of me and my body couldn’t move a muscle. These were guys I wouldn’t want to mess with. I knew that they will not leave and one way or another, they would attack us. We were going to die.
Rusty-James told them to go away and the next thing happened was he got clubbed in the head with the tool. I watched him tumble to the ground with blood pouring out of his head. I knew for a second I would be next. The person who clubbed him turned to me and replied to the other person “Killed him. Better get this one too.”
Right when I thought this was the end of my life, I started to cry and scream. Then out of nowhere, the Motorcycle Boy came to the rescue. He started to thrash on the 2 guys and I decided to scream to him that they killed Rusty-James. The two guys ran away after a while. The Motorcycle Boy and I sat down against a wall and leaned Rusty-James’ quiet body to the Motorcycle Boy’s shoulder. I sounded like a broken record constantly crying “They killed him!” and the Motorcycle Boy kept replying “He ain’t dead.” Good news, Rusty-James wasn’t dead. That was the most emotional thing that happened to me that night. After Rusty-James remained conscious, we decided to take him home because his head didn’t look good. It was bloody and the gash was deep.
That was the end for our night downtown.  When I got home, my father was furious for a number of reasons. One, I forgot to chew gum before coming home because I was too drunk to remember. Two, I was drunk. Three, I came home past my curfew and four; I had makeup from the chick on my shirt. He hit me repeatedly in the face. I knew that he didn’t mean to do that because he was just worried about me and with mom being in the hospital brought him more stress. It was the weirdest night I ever had dealing with so many types of emotions and choices.

Yep, that will be a night I will never forget.

I might be involved...

I was checking out my Google+ account and decided to look at the Ralph Macchio tag. I saw that square with the other tags and found this:
I'm probably the one who used those tags in many of my Johnny Cade custom posts. Well, at least the idea of Funko making Outsiders pops is getting noticed.

OUTSIDERS FANGIRLING

Ralph Macchio (WHO PLAYED JOHNNY CADE IN THE OUTSIDERS) doing the rumba to "Stay Gold" is BEAUTIFUL. Keep in mind he was the one who said it in the movie.
Feels.

Tadashi Hamada Funko Pop Figures

I've been into this Big Hero 6 kick recently and there's honestly should be a Tadashi Hamada Funko pop figure. He's obviously cute!

Some fans have already made custom figures of him. I think I'm going to make one too.

When you think about him, he reminds me of Johnny Cade.

EB Games Haul!

I went to a store call EB Games and got some Funko products!

Random Post Yeah!

In tech class, we're doing these photo story videos and I did mine on how to make Funko pop customs. I used my Johnny Cade custom for my example. So I recommended using references and for my image I took a screenshot of pictures of him on Google. So yeah, this is really random.

Here's the video on how I made him:
This is not the video I used for school.

Custom Funko Pops

I'm into Funkos and I'm also into doing customs of them. Here are some of my works:
Kim Possible:
Kim Possible was one of my favorite shows to watch on Saturday mornings when I was younger and I would LOVE Funko to make these in to pops!

These were the first pops I've ever done. I first did Ron Stoppable with a male D.I.Y. pop.

Pop making videos of how I made him and Rufus!
K.P. was my second custom I've done. she was done by a Female D.I.Y. pop.

In between, I did everybody's favorite naked mole rat, Rufus! He was made out of clay.
Dr. Romero
Steve Buscemi is one of my favorite actors EVER. Funko has already released two of his characters but I need more of his characters pop-ized. Aside from Randall Boggs from Monsters, Inc., one of his roles I remember growing up was his character, Dr. Romero from Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams. I've been working on him since October 2015 and I finally got him done this week!
Johnny Cade
One of my current obsessions is S. E. Hinton's The Outsiders and I seriously want the Curtis gang turn into pops. I love the character Johnny and I knew that he would be adorable as a pop!

I'm currently working on the  Matt Dillon Dallas Winston and hoping to get Ponyboy Curtis done by the end of the year!
Stay tune to see more of my works and if you're looking at this Funko, MAKE THESE PLEASE.

Welcome!
